The 2025 Genesis GV70 is one of the greatest small luxury crossovers on the market. The 2025 Genesis GV70 will be the third model year, and the Korean manufacturer has great plans. Specifically, we will see an all-electric version of the crossover with a good range and performance.
The remainder of the lineup will go in the same manner. As a result, you can rely on two well-known engine options that each deliver impressive performance. Additionally, we adore the GV70’s interior, which is both stylish and of high quality. Of course, there is a rather extensive list of basic and available equipment, which comes at a reasonable price.
2025 Genesis GV70 Design
In terms of design, the new 2025 Genesis GV70 will be as appealing as its brother G70 model. In general, there are small distinctions between electric and fuel-powered vehicles. The GV70 has a closed grille aperture in front that incorporates a disguised EV charging connection.

A closer inspection revealed working side air vents and an upgraded lower radiator grille. As a result, the new GV70 will have better aerodynamics. Genesis deleted the rear exhaust ports and diffuser, making the GV70 seem sportier from our perspective. In addition to Atacama Copper Matte exterior paint, we anticipate the manufacturer to offer Blue, Red, and other colors.
Genesis GV70 Styling Update
Things won’t alter much more in terms of the general design. The all-electric version will, of course, have a few special elements that emphasize its all-electric character, but the basic outward design will stay the same. Gasoline-powered versions will continue in the same fashion, with a recognizable look, while small changes, such as new color options, wheels, and so on, are possible.
Genesis GV70 Interior
The same is true for interior design. The Genesis GV70 has been on the market for a few years, and we are still delighted with its interior design. The dashboard has traditional, extremely attractive designs, as well as materials that are quite stunning. Moreover, there is a very extensive list of standard and optional equipment, which makes the interior appear even more spectacular. Two rows of chairs readily accommodate adult travelers.

2025 Genesis GV70 Engine
The remainder of the lineup, on the other hand, will continue as before. Starting with the standard 2.5-liter turbo-four with a maximum output of 300 horsepower, we’re going to witness two known engine choices. It provides more than acceptable performance, but we prefer the optional 3.5-liter turbocharged V6, which produces 375 horsepower and provides noticeably better driving characteristics as well as a far better sound.
The standard engine gets roughly 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway, which is very normal for the segment. The V6 is noticeably thirstier, returning roughly 19mpg in town and 24mpg on the motorway, which is below average for a small luxury SUV.

Genesis GV70 Getting All-Electric Version
There is little question that this will be the most notable innovation for the coming year. The 2025 Genesis GV70 will be available in the all-electric form, which has at minimum two variants based on what we know so far. One of them will have a single electric motor configuration, however, the power statistics are yet unknown. The dual-motor variant, on the opposite hand, will have all-wheel drive and a decent 429 horsepower output.
Genesis GV70 MPG | Fuel Economy
Both of the powertrain options for the 2023 Genesis GV70 currently on the market offer good fuel efficiency. For instance, the 2.5-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine in its standard powertrain achieves fuel economy ratings of 22 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg overall.
