2025 Nissan Murano Redesign: The 2025 Nissan Murano forgoes a tough, outdoor exterior in favor of a mashup style that looks like a sedan and a crossover. Whatever name you give it, it appears good. The Murano’s attractiveness, however, ends there because its outdated base prevents it from competing against more modern two-row rivals like the Honda Passport, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

2025 Nissan Murano Redesign

The new 2025 Nissan Murano will have an identical 111.2-inch wheelbase as the previous model. The overall dimensions may vary slightly, but the overall layout is likely to remain consistent. We can’t wait to see another two-row mid-size crossover with an entirely fresh design. The front end should be similar to that of the new Pathfinder, and other sources claim it will have a slightly slanted roof to appeal to younger customers.

Nissan Murano Interior

The Nissan Murano cabin is respectably tidy and well-equipped, although the style is beginning to appear stale. Soft leather was used for the seats, door panels, and armrests of our Platinum test car, and a band of dark teak wood was used for the trim. The thickly padded chairs should make it simple for both front-seat occupants to reach a comfortable position. Rear passengers enjoy a cozy bench seat that reclines and has lots of padding. But with the back seat folded, we managed to store 26 cases inside.

2025 Nissan Murano Specs Engine

All Muranos have a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 260 horsepower under the hood. Front-wheel drive is the default. The latest Murano we evaluated performed admirably on our test track and provided brisk city driving. Few Murano owners will frequently bury their foot in the throttle, but when they do, the CVT spikes and maintains the engine revs, producing a loud, droning grumble from the engine compartment.

On lengthy highway trips, where the powertrain disappears into the background and the ride is serene, the Murano excels. It smooths out even the worst potholes for a comfortable ride. The Murano won’t amuse you en route, but it will safely take you to the next intersection if the road is winding. On straight-aways, the steering provides adequate stability, but on winding two-lanes, it is uninteresting and uncommunicative. With a low tow rating of 1500 pounds, the Murano is available.
