Most importantly, the Giulia nameplate will survive the electrification transition and will be replaced by the Stellantis Group’s future EV STLA Large platform. The STLA Large platform is based on the Giorgio platform, which is also used to build the Giulia. According to an interview Imperato gave to Top Gear in the United Kingdom, the electric Giulia would have an operating distance of up to 500 miles and will use an 800-volt design, allowing for fast charging.

Deus Vayanne (2025)

Another electric company is on the rise, but this particular one is backed by some well-known individuals. Deus Cars, based in Austria, revealed its first vehicle, the electric Vayanne hypercar, during the 2022 New York International Auto Show. Deus has collaborated with Italdesign, a design company established by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and William Research Engineering, a spinoff of the famous Formula 1 team, to develop the Vayanne, which is expected to hit the market in 2025. As stated by Deus, this will drive the Vayanne to 62 mph in less than 1.99 seconds and on to a top speed of 248 mph. We don’t know what role Williams Advanced Research was in the creation of Vayanne’s engines, so take these statements with a grain of salt.

The Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S, Lucid Air, and Mercedes-Benz EQS will be up against the futuristic four-door compact. Polestar hasn’t revealed much about the 5, but we do know it’ll have dual electric motors with up to 884 horsepower, a competitive driving range (at least 300 miles), and eco-friendly interior components.
