The 2025 Dodge Charger EV is the best Hybrid SUV in 2025 and is the clearest indicator that electric vehicles are taking control. Electrifying one of the most powerful muscle cars is a significant endeavor, but it comes with significant performance benefits. The next-generation Charger will most likely be built on Stellantis’ future big electric vehicle platform, which is expected to have a range of up to 500 miles.
Increasing the performance to Hellcat levels will, of course, result in a reduced range estimate. Speaking of which, Dodge has not published much information on the new Charger’s powertrain, but we can plainly see the car performing a four-wheel burnout in a YouTube teaser video for the concept car.

The Dodge Charger EV hasn’t revealed how many engines will power the various Charger grades, but the base 340 model is rumored to produce 455 horsepower, while the mid-level 440 model produces 590 horses. A high-power trim, allegedly named SRT Banshee, will feature an all-wheel-drive 800-volt architecture, although the horsepower rating for that vehicle has yet to be confirmed. We also know that the concept car employs a multi-speed gearbox rather than a traditional EV direct-drive system. This isn’t a novel idea; the Porsche Taycan has a similar arrangement that is intended to boost performance and range at greater speeds. It also simulates a gear shift when under heavy acceleration.

2025 Dodge Charger Interior, and Comfort
Rather than the traditional four-door layout, the Charger concept is designed as a coupe. The trunk lid is a liftback-style component that opens up to a spacious cargo compartment, and Dodge claims the rear seats fold flat to offer more capacity for moving larger objects, such as new tires. A wide panoramic glass sunroof, a sleek pistol-grip shift lever, and a fighter-jet-style lid for the ignition switch that flicks open are also seen. The interior design combines current technologies with retro design concepts, including textured trim that is meant to resemble the grille treatment from the 1968 Charger.

Connectivity and infotainment
Interior designs of the Charger concept show a trapezoidal-shaped infotainment touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard and an oblong digital gauge panel with a little bend. Whatever the final design, the next-generation Charger will surely have the most recent version of Stellantis’ Uconnect infotainment interface, as well as popular features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, on-board Wi-Fi, and over-the-air update capabilities.

2025 Dodge Charger Price & Release Date
Although there is no official pricing for the 2025 Dodge Charger, we believe that the base model will cost roughly $33,000. Choosing an all-wheel drive will increase the price by roughly $3,000 or so. There has been no official remark on the subject. Dodge is expected to begin collecting orders for the October Charge in October, with manufacturing beginning in December as previously scheduled. However, the launching date is expected to be around early 2025.
