2025 Audi RS7 New Design
A new “RS Designs Pack in Blue” version joins the previous “in Gray” and “in Red” variants. Its seatbelts are completely Ocean Blue, and similarly, blue stitching is interwoven into the neat diamond twill dashboard trim (you can literally feel the weave when running your fingertips over it). The Gray and Red variants do not receive this, although they are improved for 2025 with harnesses highlighted in the color of choice (their middles remain black). The colors are put on to the middle of the console sides, floor mat piping, and Alcantara steering column stitching. To be honest, all of this causes the normally dark room to appear more lively.

The interior and passenger capacity of the RS version are similar to those of the standard A7, but it also boasts several unique features and fascinating alternatives. Of course, the solid construction and high-end materials are instantly apparent. The front sports seats’ base leather upholstery is great, but it is upgradeable to leather with ventilated cushions. Depending on the chosen seat arrangement, its back seat may accommodate two or three passengers, and its cargo compartment has a volume of 19 cubic feet with the rear seats in place and 49 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

2025 Audi RS7 Engine
Brilliant twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine powering an eight-speed automated gearbox, 48-volt hybrid powertrain, and Quattro all-wheel drive. The RS7 is heavier than the previous generation model, which had a maximum output of 605 horsepower, due to all this technology. Yet, the RS7 we tested accelerated to 60 mph in only 3.0 seconds thanks to its 591 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The new RS7 Performance boasts 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque thanks to bigger turbos and greater boost. We haven’t tested that one yet, though. The RS7 has an air suspension with adjustable settings for different firmness levels.

Yet, it seemed smooth regardless of the drive mode, especially when rolling on the 22-inch rims of our tester (21s are standard). Due to the balanced chassis and the extra agility of its conventional rear-wheel steering system, it is particularly gratifying to turn into curves.

The EPA scores the powerful, if thirsty, RS7 at 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg just on motorways. The 621-hp RS7 Performance has not yet received certification from the organization.
