Kia is unlikely to change the trim level and engine lineup, thus the LXS, GT-Line, EX, or GT should remain. A hybrid engine option would be nice, but we don’t see it happening.

Most K5 variants are powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharger 180-hp four-cylinder engine combined with an eight-speed automated gearbox. Front-wheel driving was standard; four-wheel drive is available, but only in the GT-Line. The full-Monty GT variant features a stronger 2.5-liter turbo four-liter engine with 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque.

Kia has not stated when the 2025 K5 will be available or how much it will cost. More details about the automobile will be available closer to its release date. The 2025 K5 might debut this autumn, with pricing set to rise from the current sedan’s starting price of $26,415 with the delivery.
